From parking the car, entry to Merrivale Barn is through it’s cottage garden. Regularly maintained & providing an area of lawn which leads onto a paddock & surrounding fields.   The paddock provides fantastic opportunities for children to run around and let off steam, or kick a ball around. It is also an ideal space for an early evening stroll, admire the surrounding countryside views, often grazing sheep and horses.

 

The garden is illuminated with out door lighting, and also boasts a selection of colourful flower and shrub borders.

 

A seated area is provided on the patio area, alongside a variety of stone ornaments such as sundials, bird baths and a small pond (with pumped waterfall) (*this is covered for safety reasons when young children stay).
